The result has been dramatically improved strength, conditioning and body awareness levels. His first-experience has fueled his passion: "I am amazed that the humble kettlebell can help produce such astounding results so quickly!" Whether your goal is to burn fat and look your best, move mountains, be longer off the tee or simply be able to develop strength and improve mobility to perform daily functional movements that have become difficult, Marc can help. "If you have the desire and fortitude to train hard using safe, proven methods and a simple hunk of iron, it would be an honor to have the opportunity to work with you in my classes."

Mauro Moncayo

Mauro teaches Qigong at Brookhaven Fitness Studio.  He began his professional career 25 years ago in the telecommunications industry, spending his last 10 years in IT senior management organizations in support of global customers and directly impacting corporate growth strategies particularly in the areas of network infrastructure consulting, financial analysis, forecasting, and personnel development.  Overlapping with and pre-dating Mauro’s telecommunications career is his 35 year focus and commitment to physical fitness and the Healing Arts. For the larger part of his life, Mauro has maintained a lifestyle of continuous sports activity, weight training and cardio vascular work; building a firm belief in the inherent health generating benefits of his lifestyle. At a pivotal point in his fitness evolution he gained exposure to the techniques of Silva Mind Control – a concept that explores the power of the mind and thought processes. He soon began to integrate Mind Control techniques into his workout routines, improving the effectiveness of his sessions and taking his fitness to higher levels. After years of being on this path, Mauro was faced with several physical and health related challenges. To address his challenges he took an active role in his healing by applying the same mind control techniques used in his workouts. The positive outcome of his efforts propelled further interest in this area and would later become the seeds of a new fitness concept for him. Mauro has since augmented his mind control skills with further studies in the area of Healing from both an esoteric as well as quantum scientific/energy management standpoint. These have helped him further enhance his work on training the mind “muscle” and improving overall wellness through the integrated mind/body approach. Mauro is a certified practitioner in Reiki and in crystal healing, and is a certified Qigong Healing and Qigong Strength instructor.

Becky Coppels

Becky teaches TRX at our studio. She is a fitness "addict" and sets an incredible example for success because she practices what she preaches and it shows!  Her classes are energetic and cohesively designed for results...and clearly showcase her knowledge, passion for fitness and for teaching!   She is TRX certified and is working toward HKC certification to further exploit her personal success with Kettlebells. Becky will tell you that she's earned her success every step of the way in both TRX and Kettlebell work.  She understands that discipline and dedication are essential to fitness...and nutrition plays a key role as well.  She is her own case study in increased strength and physical transformation!  And that's huge for someone who never played sports and does not consider themselves to be "athletic".

Jennie Olshaske

Jennie is a TRX and Interval instructor.  Her fitness revelation came as a result of joining boot camp in 2010 and loosing 15 lbs!  In the process, she also got hooked on the energy, enthusiasm and comraderie that comes with group fitness settings. Since then she became a lead boot camp instructor for The American Boot Camp company, and shortly thereafter began teaching at the studio.   Jennie's personal transformation ushered in a completely new outlook on exercise and nutrition and recognition of a hidden talent as an instructor!  Her classes are well-planned and creatively executed...always including innovative variations to work the whole body, and always high energy and challenging!  When she isn't teaching at the studio, she still gets to exercise her passion as the SE marketing Director for US Roads Sports, and is responsible for the Publix Georgia marathon adn half Marathon and 13.1 Atlanta races.  Members look forward to attending Jennie's classes....because just like Jennie, they may come into the studio after having had the worst day, and once she turns on the music and takes them on her journey, they become energized and transformed!

Danielle has been teaching at our studio since 2009.  Initially Kickboxing and Interval classes, today she teaches our Tuesday evening TRX class.  Her amazing talent to guide and motivate students in the fitness arena comes as a result of her own athletic experience as well as a family history.  Growing up she was inspired by watching her mom teach group fitness classes.  At a young age she also competed in gymnastics and played soccer throughout high school.  In her own words:  “I love to motivate people and drive them to challenge themselves, and I hope my energy and love for fitness will help encourage other people. I thrive on trying new fitness programs, such as TRX,  Kettlebell or Yoga”. A supreme example of goal setting and effective planning, staying focused and motivated, Danielle’s New Year’s Resolution for 2012 was to add running to her diverse exercise “platter”.  In September she inspired us all when she ran her first half marathon, and now….she is training for a full marathon in February!  She loves Group Fitness because it’s all about working together to push yourself and work harder than you would on your own.  Recognizing that it takes determination & dedication to carve out an hour out of our busy lives for fitness, Danielle strives to make the most out of her 45 minutes with studio members.  She loves working at Brookhaven Fitness because the community environment allows her to give personal attention, build relationships with students and help them strive toward their individual fitness goals.
